I have been fortunate to be able to spend a great amount of time on Long Beach Island (the Jersey Shore for those who aren't familiar) going back to my high school days. My parents rented a house in Beach Haven and Holgate several times in the late 70's and early 80's and that was my introduction to LBI. That's about the time I began listening to the music of Genesis. When I was in college, I went to their concert at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY - I can still remember being in the center isle about 10 rows away from Phil Collins. So here is a recent image taken at sunset in Beach Haven, and some lyrics from Home by the Sea.
